Hyundai i30 (FD) 2007-2012 Review

Generally a reliable model. Some reported problems with steering system and automatic transmission failures, although these do not appear to be too common.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine has a timing belt that requires occasional inspection and replacement. Other engines use timing chains.
