I think it may be the only phase 2 Volvo V40 T4 in Australia, or one of very few, and it is manual!
It was later offered for private sale in December 2020, for $5,000.
Now, in February 2022, it has come up for private sale again. First it was advertised for the bargain price of $2,800 and, not surprisingly, sold very quickly. Then it was advertised for sale again very soon after by the new owner. The price this time? $12,500 - not negotiable.
It has some modifications, paint fade, some dents and rust above the windscreen. Yet, due to its rarity, the seller is asking for over double the price of any V40 T4 I have seen advertised in the last few years, not that there has been many for sale.
Current mileage is listed at 195,200 km.

Price has been reduced to $9,700. Expecting furthest Price reductions down to about $5,000.

Someone bought it! Apparently they swapped it for a Toyota Prado.
But within a week a Hyundai crashed into it and it looks like the V40 will be written off.
Now phase 2 T4's are even rarer!

Insurance paid out $8,400 and the owner kept the wreck. He later advertised it for $1,500 and it has now been sold for $1,200. The new owner may transplant the T4 running gear into another phase 2 V40.
